COVID-19
Our COVID-19 Safety Measures
What to Expect
Your safety and wellness is always our top priority, and dental settings come with unique considerations for COVID-19 safety protocols. Rest assured, we have gone above and beyond to protect you and our staff throughout every stage of your treatment at Pure Health Dentistry.
From temperature checks and questionnaires prior to your appointment along with rigorous cleaning and sanitization protocols. We take every possible measure to keep our patients and our staff safe.
How We Keep You Safe
One day before your appointment, we will call and ask you a number of questions, including:
- Have you traveled within the last 14 days?
- Have you or anyone you are in close contact with been diagnosed with COVID-19?
- Are you experiencing any symptoms, including shortness of breath, cough, fever, or loss of taste and smell?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, we will reschedule your appointment for when it is safe to do so.
Patient Forms
If you answer no to these questions and you will be coming in for an appointment, we ask you to visit our website and select the green tab that reads “Patient Forms” from the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Under new patient forms sign in, you will enter your first name, last name, and the date of your appointment.
New patients will fill out all three forms:
- New Patient Registration Form
- Medical History Form
- COVID-19 Treatment Concent Form
Returning patients will fill out all three forms:
- Medical History Form
- COVID-19 Treatment Concent Form
Once you hit submit, it will automatically link to your chart at Pure Health Dentistry. There is nothing you need to print or bring with you – we will have it available during your appointment.
Your appointment at Pure Health Dentistry
When you arrive at Pure Health Dentistry, you will notice we no longer have a waiting room. Instead of entering the office upon arrival, we ask that you please call the phone number listed on the door. Once you have contacted us to let us know you have arrived, a staff member will come out to greet you.
We do our best to make sure there is no wait time for your appointment. In the event you do need to wait a few minutes, we ask that you find a comfortable, cool spot to do so, whether it is in your car or in our hallway.
Once it is time for your appointment, a staff member will meet with you to take an oral temperature and provide you with hand sanitizer.
Our staff members will open all doors for you to minimize your contact with any surface areas.
Mask Protocol
We do require all patients to wear a mask on their way in and out of the office. We also ask that patients keep their mask on while they are sitting in the chair but not yet receiving treatment.
If you do not have a mask, we will be happy to provide you with one upon arrival.
Our staff wear a combination of face protections. Between each patient, each room is completely sanatized and gowns are worn for dental proceedures.
To keep you even safer during your appointment, we place a specialized close range extraoral ambient vacuum on your chest to capture aerosols released during treatment.
Insurance Considerations
We do not contract directly with any insurance company. However, we welcome your insurance information and as a courtesy we will submit claims on your behalf.
